Living too far into the future

I often think about my next move. What my next move is in order to elevate my life. When I buy clothes I think about if I’d wear it when I’m a mom (I’m 26 and very single). I don’t know why I am constantly thinking about the person I have yet to become. I asked myself what my perfect day would look like and I immediately thought about when I’m in my late 30s or 40s with kids and (hopefully) a husband. I pictured what I wanted my life to look like. Then I thought to myself why am I thinking so far into the future when I can cultivate my perfect day tomorrow.

I want to start new healthy habits like taking my vitamins, doing a yoga meditation every morning, and really just listening to my body and doing what makes me happy that day. Every day is a fresh start and I have to remember to take it a day at a time and not stress too much about the future that hasn’t happened yet.
